WEDDING CEREMONIES - Marriage is one of the most important steps we take in our human experience and it is one of the most sacred events on our earthly journey. As your minister I will handle this special day with all the care, creativity and love that it deserves. I'll work with you to compose the perfect ceremony that is unique to your spiritual and emotional needs and is tailored to celebrate your particular relationship. Every prayer, vow, and word is chosen with the purpose of celebrating your love, the love of God and the love of those gathered.
MEMORIAL SERVICES - Life is an on going celebration and an ever-evolving spiral upward. It is inevitable that we will all grow out of our need for a body and when that time comes it is important to celebrate the gifts of our spirit as it moves on to a higher state of being. Through compassion, remembrance, tenderness and humor I create a ceremony that honors the earthly life of the person who has made their transition and their spiritual life that continues on. There is time to grieve, time to share, time to laugh and time to heal.
CHILD BLESSINGS - I sometimes feel that the younger we are the more connected to our magnificence we are and the more aware we are of our oneness with God. My baby blessing is an exquisite reminder to all gathered and to your child of the truth of their being. A being created in the image and after the likeness of all that is good, holy, pure and beautiful. Through prayers, sharing, candles, music and tenderness this ceremony will be the perfect celebration of God’s life made visible, tangible and present on earth. Whether it be on the banks of a beautiful river, an ornately decorated sanctuary or a small family gathering in your living room we will celebrate the incredible and unique gift of your child!
HOUSE BLESSINGS - Moving to a new home is a milestone in life and is often a time to let go of the old and embrace something new and wonderful. A house blessing is a great way to set intention for a new beginning; a new beginning in a sacred space that uplifts and nurtures and serves as a constant reminder of the inner peace and beauty of the homeowners. Through shared prayers, blessings and ceremony we create an energy that will fill the house for years to come.
FAMILY GATHERING CEREMONY - In my work as a foster parent, parent, grandparent and minister I have developed the skill of creating family, community and connection. An evening of ritual, play, sharing and ceremony brings your family together in a unique and meaningful way that will have an everlasting effect.
