Podcasting Help & Information

Podcasting is a great new way to subscribe to the latest audio/video content on the internet and have it automatically "beamed" to your computer and optionally sync up to your iPod or other mp3 player.

Richard will have a new message each month. Once you are subscribed to his podcast, you will automatically be given the choice to download it to your computer.

To subscribe to a podcast all you need is podcatcher or podcast management software such as iTunes or Juice.

I recommend iTunes as it is very easy to use

There are three easy ways to listen to the podcasts:

1. You can listen to them directly on your computer, using a media player such as iTunes or Windows Media Player. Most computers come with a media player already installed.

2. One of the great features of podcasts is that they are portable. Sync them to an mp3 player, and you can listen to them when are where you want.

3. Make a playlist of the podcasts and burn them to a CD, and listen to them in your CD player.

The most consistant way to subscribe to this podcast is to copy this url, http://www.richardburdick.com/burdick.xml.
Go to iTunes, select "podcasts", Click "advanced" at the top of the window and then select "Subscribe to Podcast". Paste in the url and you will then be subscribed. Each time a new podcast is available you will see it and be given the choice to "get" the newest podcast.
