Prayer for the Month

January - 2008

Holy Infinite Presence of good and love, You are the breath I breathe, the heart that beats within my chest and the very cells within my body.  You are my life source, my life sustainer and the nurturer of my every life experience.  I am grateful.  I call You forth from the center of my being that I may be focused now and always on the truth that I am never alone.  You are with me always, and in all ways, and I offer my thanks.  When I am in doubt, I will seek and know Your comfort.  Where there is conflict I will access Your peace.  When there is confusion, I will know Your clarity of vision and remember my life purpose as I move forward with conviction and direction.  In the stillness of my soul I know You as my source and the only power I need to accomplish every dream and goal I have set for myself.  Move through me, and as me as I continue to wake up to this truth. 

Use me as a light in this world to create healing where there is pain, happiness where there is sorrow and goodness where there is injustice.  Be in my thoughts, be in my words, be in my actions and be in my life in ways that make it clear that I am connected to a power beyond this earthly realm.  May the light of my soul serve as an expression of Your divine love and may that love flow from me in ever kinder, gentler and harmonious ways.  May that light shine so brightly that others can not help but know that the same light exists in them. I offer myself in service to the highest and best for humankind, and hold fast to the truth that You will be the strength and courage I need to complete what must be done by me. 

As I eliminate any blocks that keep me from the full realization of my oneness with You, my eyes, heart and soul are opened and I become an ever-blossoming expression of Your creation.  In that blossoming I continually reveal who I am supposed to be and how I am supposed to show up on this planet.  I show up as wisdom, commitment, passion, understanding, trust and unconditional love.  I behold my every circumstance to be a direct reflection of the gifts I offer as the world responds in kind to the goodness that I am.  I give thanks for his truth and joyously move forward with enthusiasm and excitement for the extraordinary ways You continually unfold within and around me.
