HOUSE BLESSING PRAYER
Great Spirit, Mother/Father Creator, Infinite protection and wisdom, fill this home with your Presence. May the walls of this house be alive with Your peace, your wisdom, Your love and Your guidance. May You surround this house and all who dwell within it with Your protection and strength that it may be a safe haven for family, friends, laughter and sorrows. May every room be alive with Your essence that all who enter may feel secure in the knowledge that You are here with them. I ask that You move in a very real and personal way upon the lives of this family that understanding and harmony may reign supreme above all else in our hearts. I know You as the foundation of this home, supporting the structure and the lives of all within. I know You as the roof overhead protecting all with Your loving Spirit. I know You as the walls that bring definition to the home and to our lives. I know you as the beauty of all that will bring this home to life and as the beauty at the core of this family. There will be many gatherings, feasts and celebrations within these walls and I shall be ever mindful of Your spirit as the source of it all. There will be times of sorrow and pain and I shall be ever mindful of Your love as the salve that heals our wounds. There will be many times of quiet reflection and I shall ever turn to You for replenishing. I offer this home as Your sanctuary and ask that You dwell within.
