Prayer for the Month
April - 2007
Great Spirit of goodness and peace, today I give thanks for the beauty and rebirth of mother earth. Everywhere I look I see the unfolding testimony of life, and life abundant.
I am so grateful for the promise of Spring fulfilled in the plants and trees and the promise of Spring fulfilled as I experience once again the blossoming of my own heart. May my life be as free as the flowers that gently unfold without worry or concern and spread their goodness without prejudice or need to rush your timing. Every blade of grass now stretches high and sings to the sky, ‘ah, I am born anew’! Today, I allow myself to be born anew, and sing with all the spirit I am in gratitude for the new me I discover with each sunrise.
I am thankful for the deep faith within me that guides me through any winter in life and allows me the time of reflection and introspection to help me grow even further on my spiritual path. . Strong in that faith, I live each day in search of the new and incredible ways you are expressing through me and as me. Confident in your plan for goodness I allow myself to be guided by the whispers of your voice within me. Nurtured by Your peace I feel deep in my heart and lifted by the power of your Spirit alive in every cell of my being I move confidently in the direction of my dreams.
I claim the truth of my being now. I am as strong and grounded as the might oak. I am as graceful and sensitive as the daffodils and I am as committed and free as the river that flows joyfully to the ocean.
I go forth to add my unique and blessed gifts to the world and marvel in the ever unfolding opportunities to experience You in nature, in my fellow human beings and in the sanctuary of my own heart. And so it is.
